Team of the Week ~ The San Diego Padres!

This week’s team of the week is a dedication to the San Diego Padres who currently hold the National League West lead with 76 wins and 53 losses.

The San Diego Padres have recently lost four straight games for the very first time this season and were swept for just the second time. The San Diego Padres, who led the majors in fielding percentage (.989) coming in, committed a season-high four errors. 


The Padres have not been to the playoffs for a few years now and they are holding on to first place all while the team's number one starter and left-fielder have been out for nearly the entire season.

Despite these recent losses the San Diego Padres still continue to hold on to the first place position in the western league division. Real baseball fans have to be pretty excited about what's going on with our featured team of the week.
