The San Diego Padres have recently lost four straight games for the very first time this season and were swept for just the second time. The San Diego Padres, who led the majors in fielding percentage (.989) coming in, committed a season-high four errors. 


The Padres have not been to the playoffs for a few years now and they are holding on to first place all while the team's number one starter and left-fielder have been out for nearly the entire season.
